Reposado
Rested in oak for a minimum of two months, though most producers aim for six to twelve. Reposado earns the widest audience of any agave category: it keeps the vegetal agave character that blanco drinkers love while adding vanilla, light spice, and a rounder, more approachable texture. At its best, the wood is a complement, not the point. A good reposado is also the natural entry point for whisky drinkers curious about tequila.
