The Wine
Tuscany doesn't produce much serious white wine, but when it does, the acidity is the story. This bottle has the structure to cut through a rich seafood pasta or hold its ground against a whole roasted fish without disappearing into the sauce.
Worth Knowing
The villa has been on record since 1427 and was once called the queen of all villas. Tsar Paul I stayed there, and Pope Pius VII slept there on his way to crown Napoleon.
