The Wine
Right Bank Bordeaux at a proper price point. Merlot-dominant with enough structure to stand up to roasted lamb or duck confit, but the fruit weight stays generous enough that you do not need to wait years for it to come around at the table.
Worth Knowing
The estate dates to 1738 and was bought in 2003 by the Jackson and Seillan families. Pierre Seillan handed the winemaking to Nicolas Seillan, the seventh generation of the family to do the job.
