The Wine
Single-vineyard Malbec from Catena Zapata, one of Mendoza's most serious estates. At this level the wine has the structure to take on a proper asado, bone-in ribeye, or anything off a wood fire where the char needs something with real grip to meet it.
Worth Knowing
The vineyard is named after Laura Catena's great grandmother, Nicasia. It holds the only planting of the family's Catena Selection Malbec cuttings in Paraje Altamira.
