The Dalmore was founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson at Alness, on the north shore of the Cromarty Firth in the Scottish Highlands. The 15 Year Old is matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in three kinds of sherry cask: Apostoles, Amoroso and Matusalem Oloroso.
Richard Paterson shaped The Dalmore's whiskies for nearly five decades, and Gregg Glass is now its Master Whisky Maker. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
