Teremana is produced at Destileria Teremana in the Jalisco Highlands, founded by Dwayne Johnson in partnership with master distiller Francisco Alcaraz.

The distillery sits in the town of Jesus Maria, where red volcanic soil and high elevation contribute to the sweeter, more aromatic agave profiles characteristic of highland tequila. Teremana uses 100% Blue Weber agave, slow roasted in traditional brick ovens for three days before fermentation.

The liquid is then distilled in copper pot stills, a method that preserves more agave character than column distillation. For this Reposado expression, the tequila rests in American oak barrels for up to four months, allowing the spirit to develop subtle oak influence without overwhelming the agave foundation.
