St. Rémy is a French brandy produced by the Boisset family group and one of the best-selling French brandies in the world by volume. It is classified as a French brandy, not a Cognac or Armagnac, so it is not bound to a specific appellation. VSOP indicates a blend aged a minimum of four years in oak.
It is made by continuous column distillation rather than the pot still methods of Cognac, giving a lighter, cleaner spirit. This is the 375 ml size. It is used in brandy sours, sidecars, coffee service and cooking.
