Smith And Cross - Dark Rum

Smith and Cross is produced at the Hampden Estate distillery in Jamaica, one of the oldest rum distilleries in the Caribbean, with records of production dating to the 18th century. Bottled at 57 percent ABV, it is a traditional Jamaican pot still rum made only from double retort pot still distillation.

It is dense, driven by the high-ester new make spirit Hampden is known for. It carries no age statement. It is bottled at full strength without chill filtration, which keeps the congeners and esters. It is used in the Navy Grog and Rum Punch, and served neat with a few drops of water.
