Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey was created in San Diego, California by husband and wife team Steven Yeng and Brittany Merrill Yeng.

Born from the couple's experimentation with peanut butter infusions at their Ocean Beach bar, Skrewball launched in 2018 and quickly became one of the fastest growing spirits brands in the United States.

The base is American whiskey blended with natural peanut butter flavoring, resulting in a smooth, dessert-like spirit that technically falls into the flavored whiskey or liqueur category.

The production process combines whiskey with proprietary peanut butter flavoring, sweeteners, and caramel coloring to achieve its signature taste. At 70 proof, it sits lower than traditional whiskeys.

Skrewball works well as a sipper over ice, in coffee, or as a component in creative cocktails like peanut butter old fashioneds or chocolate martinis. The brand has earned recognition at various spirits competitions despite, or perhaps because of, its unconventional profile.
