Sheringham - Seaside Gin 375ml

Sheringham Distillery operates from the small coastal community of Shirley on Vancouver Island, where founders Jason and Alayne MacIsaac draw inspiration from the surrounding Pacific Northwest landscape.

Their Seaside Gin captures the essence of the local terroir through a distinctive botanical bill that includes hand-harvested winged kelp gathered from the nearby Salish Sea. This wild kelp, foraged sustainably from the shoreline, lends the spirit a subtle maritime character that sets it apart from conventional gins.

The botanical profile also features juniper, coriander, rose, and citrus, balanced against that gentle oceanic undercurrent. Sheringham employs a copper pot still and uses organic BC wheat as the base spirit, reflecting their commitment to quality and provenance.

The result is a contemporary style gin that bridges traditional juniper-forward profiles with innovative coastal botanicals. At 43% ABV, its saline mineral notes carry through in cocktails, particularly in a classic martini or a simple gin and tonic garnished with cucumber or grapefruit. It can also be served neat.
