Russell Brewing - Blood Alley Esb Tall Can

Russell Brewing is out of Surrey, BC, and Blood Alley is their ESB, not a lager despite what the listing says. It pours amber with a biscuity, lightly bitter character that sits somewhere between a pale ale and a brown. Malt-forward without being heavy. This is the one you grab when you want something with a bit more substance than a standard pale but not a full commitment to a stout.
