Rumchata Cream

RumChata is produced by Agave Loco Brands in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, and has been on the market since 2009. It is made from Caribbean rum blended with dairy cream, cinnamon, vanilla and a proprietary mix of spices, loosely inspired by the Mexican rice-based drink horchata.

At 13.75 percent alcohol by volume, it is relatively light for a cream liqueur. A homogenization process keeps the cream stable without refrigeration until opened. It is served over ice, added to coffee, or used in cocktails and shots.

Cinnamon is the dominant note, giving a warmer, spicier profile than Irish cream liqueurs.
