Rioja Crianza built on Tempranillo, which means firm tannin and enough acidity to cut through roasted lamb, slow-cooked beef, or anything coming off a wood fire. The Crianza designation puts this in a structural sweet spot, aged enough to have grip but not so much that it needs another decade to open up.
