Proper No. Twelve is an Irish whiskey created by mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor with Bushmills master distiller David Elder. The name refers to the Dublin 12 postal district, where McGregor grew up in Crumlin. The blend combines single malt and grain whiskeys, triple distilled in copper pot stills.
It matures in former bourbon barrels, which add vanilla and caramel. It is produced at the oldest licensed distillery in Ireland. At 40 percent ABV, it has no age statement. It is served neat, on ice or in cocktails.
