Plantation XO 20th Anniversary is a rum produced by Maison Ferrand, the Cognac house led by Alexandre Gabriel. It uses pot still distillates from Barbados, from the Foursquare Distillery, and is finished in former Ferrand Cognac casks in France.
Column and pot still rums from Barbados are first aged in the tropical climate, then shipped to the Charente region of France, where they rest in small Cognac barrels, adding dried fruit, baking spice and oak. The rum is named for the twentieth anniversary of the partnership between Maison Ferrand and Foursquare.
It is served neat, on a large ice cube, or used in cocktails.
