Pierre Ferrand is a Cognac house based in the Charente region of France, operating out of the historic Château de Bonbonnet distillery.

The brand has long been respected for applying serious craft to both its Cognac production and its liqueur line, with the Dry Curaçao being one of the more influential orange liqueurs to emerge in recent years.

It was developed in collaboration with cocktail historian David Wondrich and is modelled on 19th-century Curaçao recipes, making it a favourite among bartenders seeking historical authenticity.

This Yuzu Late Harvest variant takes that foundation and introduces yuzu, the tart and floral Japanese citrus fruit, harvested later in the season to concentrate its natural sugars and aromatic intensity.

The base spirit is Cognac, which lends a rounder, more textured character than neutral grain spirits used in most commercial orange liqueurs.

The combination of yuzu's bright, complex citrus profile with the structure of aged grape brandy produces something genuinely different from standard triple secs or Cointreau-style products.

99, it is aimed at the serious home bartender or spirits enthusiast who wants an ingredient that adds depth to a Margarita, Sidecar, or Cosmopolitan, or who is happy to pour it over ice as a short digestif drink.
