Patron El Cielo

Patrón El Cielo is a silver tequila produced at Hacienda Patrón in Jalisco, Mexico, where the brand has operated since 1989.

It uses 100 percent Weber Blue agave sourced from the Jalisco Highlands, a region known for producing agave with higher sugar content and sweeter, fruitier characteristics compared to lowland varieties. What distinguishes El Cielo from standard Patrón Silver is its quadruple distillation process.

The liquid undergoes two distillations in traditional copper pot stills followed by two additional distillations in a custom-designed column and pot still hybrid. This extended distillation yields a light, clean spirit while preserving agave character. The name translates to 'the sky' in Spanish.

Patrón combines tahona-crushed and roller mill-extracted agave juice in production, blending the two for their house style. El Cielo works as a sipping tequila and in cocktails where agave presence without heavy weight is the goal.
