A lager from Old Abbey Ales out of BC, which tells you something right away because most local breweries lean hop-heavy. This one goes the other direction: clean, malt-forward, and easy to drink without being thin. The Scottish Monk name is a bit of a nod to the maltier British tradition, and it lands that way. Good option when someone wants a proper lager that actually tastes like something.
