Luxardo - Limoncello Master Reserve

Luxardo is one of Italy's most storied liqueur producers, founded in Zara in 1821 and now based in Torreglia in the Veneto region. The family has been making maraschino and fruit liqueurs for over two centuries, and their Master Reserve Limoncello represents a step above their standard expression.

It is made using the peels of sun-ripened Femminello lemons grown along the Amalfi Coast and in Sicily, prized for their intense aromatic oils and high citrus acidity.

The Master Reserve designation indicates a more careful production process, with careful cold maceration of the lemon zest in neutral spirit to extract maximum fragrance without bitterness, followed by blending with pure sugar syrup.
