Johnnie Walker - Red Label

Johnnie Walker Red Label is a blended Scotch whisky produced by Diageo in Scotland. This blend draws from whiskies across multiple Scotch regions, with a foundation built on malts from distilleries including Cardhu from Speyside and Talisker from the Isle of Skye, combined with various grain whiskies.

Red Label carries no age statement, which allows the blenders to select younger whiskies that produce consistent flavor year after year. The production process involves marrying up to 35 different grain and malt whiskies before bottling at 40% ABV.

Originally created in the late 19th century by John Walker's sons, this whisky was designed to be mixable. It has a slight smoky edge and spicy kick that has made it a staple in bars worldwide. Red Label performs well in highballs and classic cocktails, where its assertive character comes through other ingredients.
