Jinro - Chamisul Green Grape

Jinro is produced by HiteJinro, South Korea's largest spirits company and one of the best-selling soju brands in the world by volume.

Chamisul, which translates roughly to 'true dew,' is their flagship soju line, filtered through bamboo charcoal to reduce harshness and create a cleaner, lighter profile than older-style soju.

This green grape variant is a flavored soju built on the same filtered neutral spirit base, with added green grape flavoring that brings a light, fruity sweetness to the clean soju character. At around 13 to 14 percent alcohol by volume, it sits closer to a fortified wine in strength than a traditional spirit.

The 750ml format is one of the larger standard sizes available for this style. It is typically served cold and neat in small glasses, as is traditional in Korean drinking culture, and works well as a casual sipper alongside Korean food.

Soju dominates global consumption statistics but remains underrepresented in most Western bottle shops.
