Jim Beam - Kentucky Bourbon

Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon comes from the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont, Kentucky, where the Beam family has made whiskey for over 225 years across seven generations. It is aged four years in new charred American oak barrels, the legal requirement for straight bourbon, giving vanilla and caramel notes.

The mashbill is 77 percent corn, 13 percent rye and 10 percent malted barley, with rye adding spice. Jim Beam uses a yeast strain maintained since before Prohibition. It is one of the world's best-selling bourbons. It is served neat, on ice or in an Old Fashioned or Whiskey Sour.
