HPNOTIQ is a fruit liqueur produced in France and imported into the United States, where it launched in 2001 with Nicholas Storm, who initially sold it from the trunk of a car. It is a blend of tropical fruit juices, vodka and Cognac.
Its aquamarine colour is its most recognizable trait, and it became a fixture in hip-hop culture and nightlife through music videos and celebrity endorsements. The flavours are tropical, primarily passion fruit, mango and citrus. At 17 percent alcohol it is low enough for easy mixing.
It is used in simple mixed drinks, with lemonade or champagne. This is the 750 ml size.
