Hine is a Cognac house founded in 1763, long associated with supplying the British Royal Household. H by Hine is the entry-level expression, using eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus. The blend is restrained, precise and lighter in character than many Cognacs.
The eaux-de-vie are distilled in copper pot stills and aged in Limousin and Tronçais oak, with a VSOP-level blend. The house keeps its own cellars in Jarnac. It is sipped neat or used in a Sidecar.
