Highland Park 12 Year Old

Highland Park distillery is on the Orkney Islands, the northernmost whisky-producing region in Scotland. This 12 year old single malt is the distillery's signature expression, aged in sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks.

Highland Park has its own floor maltings and uses locally cut Orcadian peat, which burns cooler and gives a heather-honey smoke, different from the medicinal peat of Islay. The profile is heather honey, dried fruit and gentle smoke, with orange peel and warm spice from the sherry casks.

It is bottled at 43 percent ABV. It is served neat, with a splash of water or in cocktails.
