Highland Park distillery sits on the Orkney Islands, the northernmost whisky-producing region in Scotland, where Norse heritage and harsh maritime conditions shape a distinctive house style.

This 12 year old single malt represents the distillery's signature expression, aged in a combination of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks.

Highland Park maintains its own floor maltings, using locally cut Orcadian peat that burns cooler and produces a heather-honey smoke character quite different from the medicinal peat found on Islay.

The result is a balanced, approachable whisky that bridges the gap between sherried Speyside malts and peated island expressions. On the palate, you will find layers of heather honey, dried fruit, and gentle smoke woven together with remarkable harmony.

The sherry cask influence contributes notes of orange peel and warm spice without overwhelming the spirit's natural character. At 43 percent ABV, this bottling carries enough weight to stand up to consideration but remains easy drinking.
