Hendrick`s Gin

Hendrick's is produced by William Grant and Sons at the Girvan distillery in Ayrshire, Scotland, making it technically a Scottish gin despite its English branding identity.

What sets Hendrick's apart is its dual-distillation approach: a Carter-Head still and a traditional Bennett still are used separately, then the two distillates are blended together.

This combination allows the delicate floral and citrus notes from the Carter-Head to sit alongside a more robust juniper-forward base from the Bennett.

The signature character comes from the post-distillation addition of Bulgarian rose petal and cucumber essences, which give Hendrick's its distinctively soft, floral, and cooling profile. This departure from the classic London Dry template places it firmly in the contemporary gin category.

The botanicals also include juniper, coriander, angelica root, orris root, elderflower, chamomile, yarrow, caraway, and citrus peel. The 375ml format is a practical option for those wanting a quality gin without committing to a full bottle.

It is well-suited to a simple gin and tonic with a cucumber slice, though it also performs admirably in a Martini or Gimlet. The low-heat floral style makes it approachable for drinkers new to gin.
