Goalong - Single Malt Chinese Whisky Bourbon Cask

Goalong Single Malt Whiskey Bourbon Cask is made at the Goalong distillery in Liuyang, Hunan Province, China, from water and malt. The brand was created by its founder, Alan Gao, and the distillery uses a 5-ton still.

The producer says this bottling is aged in a second-hand bourbon cask from the United States, with no chill filtering and natural colour. It lists silver medals at ISC and IWSC 2024.

Goalong's notes are cream, toffee, biscuit and dessert on the nose, then sticky toffee pudding and green grapes on the palate, with rhubarb, nectarine and rosemary.
