Gibson's Finest Rare 12 Year Old is a Canadian whisky produced by William Grant and Sons at their Valleyfield distillery in Quebec. It spends twelve years aging in oak barrels before bottling. It follows the Canadian practice of blending corn-based whisky with rye and other grain whiskies. The long aging gives vanilla and caramel notes from the oak and softens the spirit. It is served neat or in cocktails.
