Don Julio - Blanco

Don Julio Blanco is produced at Destilería La Primavera in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, by Tequila Don Julio, now owned by Diageo. The blue Weber agave is sourced from the highlands, where red clay soil and elevation give a sweeter, more citrus-forward agave than the lowlands.

The agave is harvested at full maturity, typically seven to ten years, slow-roasted in brick ovens and double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills. It is bottled unaged right after distillation. The squat bottle was introduced by Don Julio González so guests at the table could see each other.

It is served neat or used in a margarita. This is the 50 ml size.
