Don Fulano Blanco comes from La Tequileña distillery in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, a family-owned operation that has been producing tequila since 1959.

The brand uses 100 percent blue weber agave sourced from both highland and lowland regions, though the highland agave from the Los Altos area tends to dominate the flavor profile with its characteristic sweetness and floral notes.

Production follows traditional methods with agaves slow-cooked in brick ovens for around 72 hours before being crushed and fermented using the distillery's proprietary yeast strains. Double distillation occurs in copper pot stills, which helps retain the natural agave character while achieving a clean, refined spirit.

The resulting blanco is bottled unaged at 40 percent ABV, allowing the pure expression of cooked agave to shine through without oak influence. What sets Don Fulano apart is the attention to terroir and the family's long history of supplying agave and tequila to other producers before launching their own label.
