Crystal Head - Vodka

Crystal Head Vodka was created by actor Dan Aykroyd and artist John Alexander, launched in 2008. The vodka is distilled in Newfoundland, Canada, using peaches and cream corn sourced from the Midwest.

It undergoes four distillations and three filtrations through Herkimer diamond crystals, a form of double-terminated quartz found in upstate New York.

The producers notably avoid the use of additives such as citrus oils, sugars, or glycerol, which are commonly used in the industry to soften or sweeten the final product. The result is a neutral, clean spirit with a slightly creamy texture derived from its corn base.

The iconic skull-shaped bottle, designed in collaboration with sculptor John Alexander, has made Crystal Head one of the more recognizable vodka brands on shelves globally. The 50ml format is an option for trying it before committing to a full bottle, or for including in a gift set.

It is additive-free, made from corn, and filtered through Herkimer diamond crystals. The corn base gives a mild sweetness to an otherwise clean and neutral spirit.
