Bearface - Wilderness Series 03

Bearface is a Canadian whisky brand built around extended outdoor aging, exposing barrels to the natural elements of the Canadian wilderness rather than keeping them in temperature-controlled warehouses.

The Wilderness Series 03 is the third release in this ongoing experimental line, pushing the boundaries of conventional Canadian whisky production by using seasonal temperature swings to accelerate and deepen the interaction between spirit and wood.

The base whisky is a seven-year-old corn-dominant Canadian blend finished in French Limousin oak. The outdoor aging approach introduces more pronounced tannin extraction and a degree of oxidation that distinguishes it from indoor-aged whisky of similar age.

This whisky carries structural complexity, with a noticeable oak presence balanced by the inherent sweetness of the corn mashbill. It works well neat or with a single cube of ice.
