Bacardi Superior White

Bacardi Superior is produced by the Bacardi Company, one of the largest and most recognized rum producers in the world.

Originally founded in Santiago de Cuba in 1862 by Facundo Bacardí Massó, the brand relocated its operations following the Cuban Revolution and now produces its white rum primarily in Puerto Rico, though the country of origin on this expression is unlisted.

Bacardi Superior is made using a continuous column still process, which produces a clean, light-bodied spirit.

The rum is then charcoal filtered after aging in white oak barrels, a step that removes color and smooths out rougher congeners, resulting in the characteristically neutral and approachable profile the brand is known for. This is a mixer-first rum designed for cocktails rather than sipping neat.
