Bacardi Superior is produced by the Bacardi Company. The brand was founded in Santiago de Cuba in 1862 by Facundo Bacardí Massó and moved its operations after the Cuban Revolution. The white rum is now produced primarily in Puerto Rico, though the country of origin on this expression is unlisted.
It is made with a continuous column still. The rum is charcoal filtered after aging in white oak barrels, which removes colour and smooths the spirit, giving a neutral, light-bodied profile. It is used in daiquiris, mojitos and rum and cola. This is the 1.14 L size.
