Bacardi 8 Year Old is an aged expression from Bacardi. It was established in Santiago de Cuba in 1862, and after the Cuban Revolution it distills primarily in Puerto Rico.
It is a blend of column and pot still distillates, matured a minimum of eight years in heavily charred American white oak barrels previously used for bourbon. It is medium amber and smooth, with dried fruit, baking spices, subtle oak and natural caramel sweetness.
It is sipped neat or on the rocks, and used in an Old Fashioned or a Daiquiri.
