Ardbeg - Uigeadail

Ardbeg Uigeadail comes from a distillery on the southern coast of Islay, where peat smoke and sea spray define the landscape. The name comes from Loch Uigeadail, the deep loch that supplies the distillery's water.

Uigeadail is a vatting of bourbon barrel-matured whisky with a portion aged in former sherry casks, bottled at cask strength without chill filtration. The sherry influence adds layers of dried fruit and toffee sweetness alongside the smoke.

At around 54 percent alcohol by volume, this whisky has substantial weight and complexity. It can be drunk neat or with a few drops of water, which opens up additional nuances. It sits within Ardbeg's core range.
