Appleton Estate Signature Blend

Appleton Estate Signature Blend comes from the Nassau Valley in Jamaica, where the distillery has produced rum since 1749. It is a blend of pot still and column still rums, balancing the funky, ester-rich character of pot distillation with lighter column-distilled spirit.

The minimum age in the blend is four years, aged in Jamaica's tropical climate, which speeds maturation. Appleton Estate uses limestone-filtered water from the local aquifer and its own yeast strains. The profile is orange peel, vanilla, dried apricot and subtle oak spice, with restrained Jamaican funk.

It is used in a Dark and Stormy or Mai Tai and sipped neat over ice.
