Absolut - Lime

Absolut Lime is produced by The Absolut Company at their distillery in Åhus in southern Sweden, where the brand has made vodka since 1879. Like all Absolut flavoured vodkas, it is made from winter wheat grown in the Skåne region, giving a soft, slightly sweet base.

The lime flavour comes from natural lime ingredients, and no sugar is added, so the profile is relatively dry. Absolut uses a continuous distillation process with one main distillation and a series of rectification steps. The vodka tastes of lime peel. It is used in highballs, vodka sodas and simple citrus cocktails.
